The TPG Pencil Grip Claw is a fun, affordable and effective way to teach young children how to hold their pencil correctly. The Pencil Grip Claw provides the most control over the fingers and hand. It is flexible enough to fit on pencils, utensils, crayons and markers.
The claw grip is ideal for the earliest stages of grip development. Many children benefit from using the Pencil Grip Claw, including those with Autism, ADHD, Developmental disabilities and general fine motor control, hyper flexion and/or poor muscle tone. The pencil grip increases comfort, teachers the proper hand positioning and improves control.
Its ergonomic design also provides relief for hand fatigue and pain.
Simply slide the TPG Pencil Grip Claw over a crayon, pen, pencil or marker. Keep the grip towards the bottom of the writing instrument to allow the wrist to rest on the table and encourage the proper tripod grasp.
Place your thumb on the R or L on the grip and the fingers naturally fall into place.
